Family and Community Education

The Dickson County FCE Council is an active part of the region, state and national association.  Dues for county, region and state FCE membership are $11.00.  National dues are $35.00 and include the national member handbook and newsletters throughout the year.  Local clubs may have additional dues.

Three clubs meet monthly to share friendship, fellowship, and educational programs to improve the quality of family living.  Meetings are held in homes or community buildings at various locations in Dickson County.  The County FCE Council is made up of county-wide officers, education leaders, and the presidents of the three local clubs.

Formerly known as “Home Demonstration” and later “Extension Homemaker” clubs, the mission of FCE is to strengthen individuals and families through continuing education, leadership development and community service.
